On the morning of September 17, 2020, Professor Li Liang of the School of Marxism of Shanghai Jiaotong University and a doctoral supervisor was invited to give an academic titled "New Media and New Technology to Promote the Construction of the "Golden Course" of Ideological and Political Education in Universities" in the conference room on the fifth floor of the School of Marxism. Professor Li Liang proposed to introduce new technologies and media into college classrooms, actively promote the in-depth integration of information technology and college education, improve the thinking course curriculum and teaching material system, and adhere to application-driven and mechanism innovation. By comparing the changes in the relevant regulations of educational technology in China and the United States, Professor Li Liang further pointed out that the transition from teaching-centered to learning-centered should be gradually promoted. As a whole, to achieve a more open, more suitable, more humanistic, more equal and more sustainable education. Finally, Professor Li Liang used the "Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement" as a case to explain in detail the application of new technologies in the teaching of ideological and political courses.
